What is a
Life Settlement?

A Life Settlement investment is modeled after a real estate transaction. It is similar in nature to a zero-coupon bond in that the purchaser knows at the time of purchase what the total expected return will be. 

A purchaser acquires the entire policy, with no fractional interest or policy pooling.
